Large Yoga & Pilates Studios
Available to hire subject to our regular timetable. Good availability usually week days from 8.30pm and afternoons, week ends and additional times during the school holidays. Socks or bare feet only.
We have two beautiful studios, set on the upper floor of our converted chapel – light, open and spacious with oak floors, arched windows and vaulted high ceilings with further windows in the roof.
The Yoga studio (74m²/822 sq ft) can be supplied empty or with mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps, chairs and iPod speakers or CD player.
The Pilates studio (49m²/564 sq ft) has four SPX Stott Pilates Reformers with mat converters, boxes and maple poles. Also mats, blocks, small balls, foam rollers, fitness circles, toning balls, flex bands, swiss balls, arc barrels, asymmetric arc barrels/spine correctors, Bosus and iPod speakers or CD player. The Reformers can be stacked out of the way.
It is a magnificent space suitable for workshops, photo shoots, martial arts training, performing arts rehearsals, exhibitions and many other activities.
We have a comfortable reception/waiting area, changing rooms with showers and lockers, and a cafe area for special teas, coffee and snacks.
Treatment room
We have a treatment room available for hire, situated on the ground floor. The room is equipped with a treatment couch, which can be moved out if required.
Fully-equipped ground floor Private Pilates Studio
Our brand new state of the art Pilates studio is fully equipped with the latest Stott Pilates equipment - an SPX V2 Max Plus Reformer (for both Reformer and Cadillac exercises), Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel. Arc barrels, Balanced Body assymetric arc barrels/spine corrector, and all other small equipment also available. The studio is 18m² with wall mirrors on two sides and is situated on the ground floor (great for clients who find stairs difficult). If you are an experienced, certified, insured Pilates instructor you are welcome to hire the studio on an hourly basis to work with your own clients or to train yourself.
